Twilight Golf

Every Tuesday 3pm – 6pm (Starting Tues Oct 8th 2024)

$7 Members of any club, $10 non members, Juniors $2 and Carts $15 per 9 holes

As the clocks go forward and the longer evenings saunter in, it’s time to dust off the clubs and come and play twilight.

This is the epitome of social evening fun golf played over 9 holes where everybody is welcome.

If you don’t have time to play 18 holes, a beginner with or without a handicap or just fancy 9 holes on a balmy summer’s evening, then twilight is for you.

This is a weekly family event where Mums and Dads bring the kids as every ability and level are catered for. Most of our low handicap golfers cut their teeth at twilight so you may have the next budding Lydia Ko just waiting to swing a club.

If you’re new to golf, don’t worry about handicaps and scoring etc as our twilight convenor, Mr Shane Brandso (aka Splinta), will have it all in hand. There are divisions for affiliated and non affiliated golfers. Non affiliated will be given a starting unofficial handicap which will be adjusted each week depending on your performance.  Nobody really knows how this works and nobody really cares…it just does.

After the golf, relax with a cold one, regale the clubhouse with what could have been, have a quick bite to eat with our full catering menu and get ready for prize giving, which is generally an event in itself.

If you’re really lucky, you may clean up on Splinta’s infamous Ham raffles. Get that Christmas ham tucked away, negating the need for the Christmas food shop and therefore leaving more time to play golf. Please note, these raffles are not gluten free or vegan friendly.
